The #NewMR Festival 2010 - the changing face of insight
03 Dec 2010|Added Value
The Festival of #NewMR, 6-10 December 2010, is a collaborative online event aiming to both define and shape the future of market research.
At the centre of the festival is the Main Stage; 22 hours of top class market research (MR) speakers from around the globe. The main stage is a webinar-based conference with the theme of “What is NewMR? How is it already working? What will happening in 2011?”
The webinar will run from about 2pm in New Zealand through till about 2pm in California – divided into 3 x 6 hour parts.
Supporting the main stage are fringe events – an open Poster session (with a $1000 prize), an open Video session ($1000 prize), a twitter backchannel using #newmr and more events being planned.
Tickets are still available ($24 for a single six-hour Part, or $50 for the whole 22 hours) – visit http://newmr.org/ to find out more.
Follow #NewMR or organizer Ray Poynter (@RayPoynter) on twitter for the event stream. Added Value North America’s Zoë Dowling (@zoedowling) is a member of the Advisory Board and is chairing one of the NA timezone sessions. Watch out too for Kantar’s Tom Ewing, who will be leading some thinking on how researchers can use the world of gaming to connect with consumers…and who will no doubt also be tweeting up a storm (@tomewing).
